Hello,i recently updated my graphic card driver to the newes version. But now I am not able to select the right display resolution(which is 1920x1200). The max resolution I can select is now only 1600x1200. But this Driver should definitely support this resolution.Even if I select the option to show me all mods it won´t show me more options.I tried a lot of other Drivers now and even my old Driver(which worked fine) but non of them seems to work.- Graphic Card: ATI RADEON HD 4800- Driver: AMD-Catalyst-15.11Beta (also tried 15.7.1 and 13.4)- Display: HP Z24i- Windows 10 64bit Pro. Maybe changing the graphics driver changed the monitor as well. To make sure it supports all resolutions, you have to replace the monitor with Generic PnP monitor. Click on the search icon and type device.
Ati 4800 Series Driver Update
Click to open the Device Manager, then expand monitors, right-click on the monitor and select Update driver. Select last option a couple of times and you should see a list with models. Uncheck the box Show compatible models to see all models. Then from standard monitors select Generic PnP monitor and install it.Another thing to try is to change the resolution from Catalyst Control Center, monitor section. Or right-click on the desktop, select Display settings., then click Advanced display settings, then Display adapter properties. Finally click on List all modes, select the desired resolution and try to apply it. The latest drivers don't support anything below HD5xxx, HD4xxx you're limited to 13.4 legacy.Sounds like you've got to clean all the gpu drivers out in safe mode and start over with 13.4,.I tried my old HD4670 months ago and it was just a hassle and I gave up but I had other cards to use.

Even the new to me r7 265 is buggy with win 10 the hdmi sound just implodes on its' self or something you have to keep resetting it. I have a few HD6850/6870 my brother has an HD6670 and they work perfect in win 10 64. Windows 10 contains a legacy driver I use for my old HD 4850 graphic card with a 1920x1200 resolution display. When installing Windows 10 from an Anniversary Update 'Redstone' (RS1) ISO a legacy driver for the ATI Radeon HD 4800 series is installed. The driver version on the ISO is 15.201.1101.1001 from 14-8-2015. That legacy driver does not work for 1920x1200 or other wide screen resolutions. You have to downgrade to the older ATI Radeon HD 4800 series legacy driver version 8.070.100.9001 from 13-1-2015.
That driver works fine on 1920x1200 resolution. Downgrading was easy for me, since I have backups of my drivers made with Double Driver freeware.Noteworthy is that the Windows Insider versions never installed the problematic version 15.201.1101.1001 legacy driver. As I have said before, I prefer an earlier official (OEM) driver from a 'new' (but not fully functional) Microsoft generic driver. I don't want to just make the graphics work, I also want to enable all possible features, including all possible resolutions.

And 99% of the cases I feel that official drivers give better performance too, although it might be my idea. Also if you play old games that require specific DLLs from old DirectX 9 installation, then I recommend to also install latest DirectX 9.0c runtime. It improves compatibility with old games and old video applications that work on DirectX 9 rather that 10 or newer. When installing DirectX 9 you will see the option to enable dotNET FX 2 and 3. Of course you do (requires internet connection), as some older applications need that instead of version 4.7 bundled with Windows 10 (version 4.7 remains functional too).
